Kindness for yourself
There's a lovey quote that stuck with me this week...
"You will never speak to anyone more than you speak to yourself in your head, be kind to yourself"
We have so much internal dialogue with ourselves, about everything.
Shaped by our environment, our experiences, our daily lives and what's happening in them at the time.
These all shape our thoughts. About others, about ourselves.
Somehow, we often find ourselves able to redirect our thoughts to kindness for others.
But what about ourselves?
I don't know about you, but it's something I have to regularly remind myself of.
But somehow practicing Yoga helps us with this.
We learn to tune into our bodies, listen to our bodies, a will to make ourselves feel better, no matter where we are starting from or where we want to go.
We learn to look on ourselves with loving and kindness.
We owe it to ourselves to be kind to us!
